Van Dijk Group acquires Transport Maintenance Nieuwegein

FBM assisted the shareholder of Transportonderhoud Nieuwegein in this transaction

Late last week, the shareholder of Transportonderhoud Nieuwegein reached agreement on the acquisition of the company by Van Dijk Groep. Van Dijk Groep is active with several companies as a total supplier in truck mobility and automobility. The family business employs over 200 people. The acquisition fits in with Van Dijk Groep’s strategy of being a total provider for transport companies in the central Netherlands.

Transportonderhoud Nieuwegein is a universal garage company for heavy commercial vehicles, trucks towed equipment and superstructures. Customers can go there for MOT, maintenance and repair of all brands of trucks and trailers.

Van Dijk Group Managing Director George Seitzinger explains, “The Transportonderhoud Nieuwegein branch is centrally located in our region and thus a perfect complement to our TSV companies in Geldermalsen and Veenendaal. Transportonderhoud has an excellent name in the region and it employs motivated, knowledgeable people. That’s why we were keen to acquire this fine company.”
