FBM Corporate Finance assisted the shareholders of B-Lay in the sale to SoftwareONE Holding AG. SoftwareONE Holding AG is a global player in end-to-end software and cloud solutions. It announced today that the company may add B-lay’s expertise to its market-leading Software Lifecycle Management (SLM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) portfolio. B-lay is a competent provider of SAM advisory and managed services for SAP and Oracle. The acquisition offers more opportunities in terms of knowledge and delivery within Europe. Also, the IP of the platform Zyncc will be integrated into SoftwareONE’s PyraCloud platform. The capabilities of the PyraCloud platform allow customers to gain faster visibility into on-premises software and easily optimize cloud workloads.

Headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, B-Lay also has subsidiaries in the US and Romania, where its Center of Excellence is also located. Founded in 2008, the company supports clients in the area of managed and professional services for optimizing software and cloud expenses, with specific focus on auditing, asset management and reporting. B-lay’s platform, Zyncc, provides management and optimization of on-premises licenses and cloud subscriptions. The three managing partners Mark van Wolferen, Heidy Goyens and Richard Spithoven will join SoftwareONE once the transaction is complete. They will be responsible for SLM services in the area of SAP and Oracle in Europe.
