Kooijman Auto Group acquires TAB

FBM Corporate Finance accompanies Kooijman Autogroep in acquisition of Tiel car repair and painting company (TAB)

This summer, Kooijman Autogroep announced that Kooijman Autogroep was expanding its car body repair activities in Tiel with the purchase of TAB. Albert van Lunteren assisted the management in the realization of this acquisition.

After 40 years of working in the family business, owner Nico Papaïoannou is taking a step back at a logical moment. Both companies were already working intensively together. With the takeover, Kooijman Autogroep now has two bodyshops.

Nico Papaïoannou will phase out his activities. He will transfer the day-to-day management to Frans de Beus. All staff members will continue to work at TAB.

‘The acquisition contributes to future-proofing, but also to the interests of both customers and suppliers,’ Kooijman Autogroep said.

The name will be changed to TAB Kooijman Autoschade.
