FBM assisted the shareholders of Auto Versteeg Buurman in this partial sale
Auto Versteeg Buurman announced this week to transfer the 2 branches in Ede and the branches in Veenendaal and Wageningen to Broekhuis as of January 1, 2023. FBM Corporate Finance assisted Auto Versteeg Buurman in this transaction. In the coming months we will work together with seller and buyer to successfully complete the transfer.
The transaction concerns four of Auto Versteeg Buurman’s total of nine locations. It concerns two locations in Ede and garages in Veenendaal and Wageningen. About seventy employees work at the branches being transferred.
Versteeg Buurman is a large car dealer in the middle of the country. The company specializes in Peugeot, Citroën, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Toyota. Sales cover Peugeot and Citroën operations.
Automotive Online reports that this acquisition is part of Stellantis’ network strategy. In line with this, earlier this year Broekhuis acquired Autopalace, Opel Kamp Hengelo and De Snipperling Apeldoorn (Fiat/Jeep). Broekhuis passed the one billion euro sales mark last year.
Auto Versteeg Buurman has been in business for 56 years and continues its activities around the Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Toyota and Nissan brands through its branches in Ermelo, Voorthuizen, Barneveld and Nunspeet.
