FBM congratulates the shareholders of MWC Group B.V. on the acquisition of Amer Houttechniek B.V.
MWC Group acquired the operations of Timmerfabriek Overvecht in 2021 (including Bijenkasten.nl) – a carpentry factory in Utrecht with more than 15 years of specialist experience in the field of sustainable production of doors, sliding doors, frames and mouldings. To further expand and strengthen the position in the central Netherlands, the shareholders actively sought more acquisition opportunities after this acquisition.
Amer Houttechniek – a specialized and service-oriented woodworking company, located at Calveen business park in Amersfoort since 1998 and with a leading position in Amersfoort and surrounding areas – fully met the profile. MWC Group’s long-term ambitions match those of Amer Houttechniek, which led to a good match between the two parties. After an intensive period of cooperation, the acquisition of Amer Houttechniek was effected in early May 2022.
With this successful acquisition, MWC Group is fulfilling its ambition to become the market leader in the Central Netherlands for the production of wooden frames, doors, windows, and moldings for regional residential and commercial construction.
