Sale of Lequal to international company Happy Horizon

FBM assists shareholder Lequal in sale of majority stake to Happy Horizon

Happy Horizon, a group of specialized agencies in data & strategy, content & creation, ICT & web development and media & campaign management, has acquired Amsterdam-based digital marketing agency LEQUAL. This brings the number of agencies under Happy Horizon to 12. In total, the group has over 220 specialists, spread across offices in Eindhoven, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Nistelrode and Berlin. FBM acted as advisor to LEQUAL and coordinated the transaction process.

LEQUAL was founded in 2012 by Rick Burgers and over the following years grew rapidly to the company it is today. The company offers SEO, SEA and video services from their offices in Amsterdam and Utrecht. Happy Horizon , a business group specialized in data, creativity, digitalization and social media with offices in Eindhoven (head office), Apeldoorn, Nistelrode, Amsterdam and Berlin, was looking to expand their activities and team in Amsterdam. Rick Burgers will continue to lead LEQUAL after integration.
